This website is designed to provide communication and informational resources for the Baha'is of the Capital District and northeastern region of New York State, as well as to provide the general public with an introduction to the activities of this Baha'i community and the means for having their inquiries addressed.  The Baha'i Faith is an independent world religion founded upon the teachings of Baha'u'lla'h (1817-1892), Whose teachings emphasize the oneness of all human beings and the common origin of all religions as progressive stages in the revelation of the Will of one God.  Baha'is strive to transform their lives through the practice of the spiritual principles enunciated by Baha'u'lla'h, and to build a model for a peaceful and just world order through their community affairs.

This website is officially sponsored by the Local Spiritual Assembly of Albany, NY and managed by an "ITeam" of Baha'i volunteers from the Capital District.  Much more information about the Baha'i Faith can be found on the official national website of the Baha'i Faith in the United States of America.  Any person, whether Baha'i or not, is most welcome to become a member of this website at no charge.  Materials (such as photos, quotes, and articles) from this website may be republished elsewhere upon receiving permission from the webmaster.
